Someone had posted a white frizzle in California I believe ...and I tried clicking on her post to reply and for some reason it posted at the end of the thread. I went back to try to find it again and basically gave up for now :(
I know this post is quite old but I was wondering how things went with your chick, she reminds me so much of one that I just lost and I would love to find a place I can get a similar chick any suggestions or updates?

I absolutely love the pet/ predator quote! My breeder told me to let her know that "this was the free warning , if my chickens end up missing or dead don't be surprised if her cat ends up missing". It's a tricky situation because I can't prove it was her cats that did it but she's the only one...
Would u just string fence to deck? Or the whole backyard? And yes legally her cat shouldn't be in my yard. It occasionally walks the fence to roam around. And as you can see by the pics- that means roam around everyone's yards. Maybe someone else will take her cats thinking they're feral...
We have since switched out of this coop. We had too many problems with the wood swelling and shifting and the cement blocks were not layed perfectly :-/ leaving a few possible dig holes for small rodents. The chicken wire was very sturdy on top as we seen some sags in it so we could tell there...

Ya check "him" out! Thanks for the support on my thoughts. Now I just have to wait a while and research Chicken psychology and blended chicken families. Our little yellow girl may be alone then. The bigger ones will sit on her at night but poke during the day. All my littles will be gone...
