    Interested to see what others say! My pullet has laid a few like this and I just figured it was her body getting used to laying again (she's only been laying for a week now this spring after not laying all winter). I figured she was still working on getting the pigmentation part right again.

    Thanks. Well it looks like it'll be 4/5 cockerels then. Two are showing coloring and one of those is already crowing. One is clearly a pullet. The other two in question seems like you guys agree will be cockerels.

    So tonight I got a breeding pair of parakeets. I was told the blue one was male and green female. They have three eggs in a coconut nest currently. The green parakeet is sitting on the eggs and the blue one is caring for her but also sits on the nest with her. I am just concerned about his cere...

    When we first got them and then at around 5-6 weeks. These were given to us from someone who got them at Tractor Supply or Rural King I am guessing and said they couldnt care for them. Any ideas? Thanks!
