ISO Egyptian Fayoumis (Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Southern Ohio)

I would love to get some Egyptian Fayoumis. I'm between Louisville and Lexington, KY but willing to drive a good distance to avoid ordering from a big hatchery.

Old hen with black toe - not frostbite - amputate?

She can hobble along when she wants to get somewhere, but it seems hard on her and the foot is always kind of "curled." I lift her onto...

    Is this bumblefoot?

This medium-sized, otherwise healthy hen is 16 months old. A couple of days ago I noticed what looks like an abscess on her foot. My only doubts about bumblefoot are that it's on the top rather than the bottom/pad of the foot and she's still not limping or showing any signs of distress. Is it...

Chick hatched with leg wound, gimpy?

Sorry for the very belated update, but this chick turned out fine. After a couple days of watching, the limp went away on its own and the chick developed normally. It's now a beautiful six month old rooster.

Chick hatched with leg wound, gimpy?

This chick took a long time to hatch relative to the rest of the clutch, several hours, and it came out leg first. Just the leg was poking out and kicking for hours. When it was finished I noticed blood on the eggshell near where the right leg had been sticking out. It also had what looked like...
