We had a very special duckling named Pat. He was about a month or so old. This morning around 7 am I saw him on the porch as usual, said good morning and continued to take the trash out. Around 10 he was seen in the yard happily.
By afternoon, there was no sign of Pat. He usually comes running...
I’ve hatched ducks one other time. During this incubation period, we had quite the power outage (almost 24 hours). I confirmed all the ducks continued to develop.
My ducks weren’t supposed to hatch for a few more days based on my calendar but all 3 have pips.
