Can you graze an ostrich in the same space as chickens?

I don't actually plan on doing this, but it came up in conversation, and I couldn't find any answers on Google.

    What breed is this rooster?

I'm not surprised he's a barnyard mix, I got him from a nearby farm that had too many roosters.

Can anyone tell me what these are? Breed and sex.

Barnyard mixes is most probably what they are. Thank you so much, I appreciate the gendering of my chickens. I'm very bad at it it seems

I'm not really sure my neighbors know what kind of chickens they have. They have a very wide variety. But thank you for the pullets thing, I've been very worried since the last time I hatched three eggs and managed to get three roosters.

What age rooster should I get?

I have 8 mature ladies that I want a rooster for, protection and possible chicks in the future. I found someone that is selling roosters, but they want to know if I want a rooster that is either 10 weeks or 1 year. Is a young rooster or a mature rooster better to introduce in?

    Question about storing scratch

So I was storing scratch in a plastic bin, but of course some wildlife found an interest in chewed a hole through it. So I bought a metal trash can and that's worked wonderfully, except now the weather has caused a dew point. This has caused the inside of the metal can to get wet, and the...

Attacked by dog, lost back feathers, not sure what to do now.

So my chicken got out and got attacked by a dog, who just thought that she was a fluffy chew toy. The dog did not kill the chicken, which really says a lot for the dog I guess! The chicken was in shock and a little traumatized, but seems to be bouncing back fine. I have separated her from the...

    These are roosters, aren't they?

I picked up some chicks from a school incubation project and one is certainly a rooster, but the other two acted hennish. When I re-homed the rooster, the other two grew up more and now I'm thinking they're both roosters, judging by their feathers. Which is really frustrating. I heard that hens...
