    Thank you everyone for the warm welcoming. :) Michael, i was told a hybrid type such as red star or black/red sexlinks would be good for our climate as well as productive egg layers. To be honest I am not even sure how or where to seek out that certain chick or pullet.. any advice?

    Hello!! I am a new member and a total beginner but I just found out my little village in WI allows us to have two chickens!! I will mostly lurk and browse for answers to questions I have before flooding the board with FAQs. I am looking forward to reading your posts and replys! -Lo Now...
