    Rabbits newborns gutted, please help

Thank you for all the info, yes that's a good idea although the fencing is very secure, I've got at least 3 layers of fencing down the bottom so they don't dig. Eventually if the wire is to rust I'll put another thicker one. Lucky here in Australia the worse thing that can come and try get...

    Rabbits newborns gutted, please help

Thank you, I just can't help myself but do what's best for our furry friends, I treat them like they are my own children. They're no different to people...not sure if others agree to this but I believe any animal should be treated the same way and live the same lifestyle like humans.

    Rabbits newborns gutted, please help

Thank you for your response. Yes true, it could be the case although none of my other buns are more dominant than the one that had the babies...I'll probably have to shuffle around my buns and perhaps put some in the other large run away from the breeding bunnies, do you think that may help? I...

    Rabbits newborns gutted, please help

It's impossible for a bird to get in, I've proofed it that much that not even a small bird can get in. We get eagles alot hence why I've bird proofed the area but of course also because we've got 3 cats too ahahahaaa. My dogs don't even let a bird fly past the area, they're very good at their job 👍

    Rabbits newborns gutted, please help

It could be the case but it's strange because she's had babies before and hadn't done that....unless she felt threatened by a snake? It's so confusing

    Rabbits newborns gutted, please help

Thank you :) Thankfully we don't get weasels here but it's impossible for them to get to the run anyway because they'll have to get through the dogs first. I've got a night cam that I can put up to see but it'll be pointless now because she doesn't have babies to go for. She also dug a warren so...

    Rabbits newborns gutted, please help

I've got it chicken wired all around and from the top so it's fully cat, dog, bird/eagle, fox proof. I've even got a double fence that runs along the bottom with it half a meter laying flat on the grass so the rabbits don't burrow out towards the paddock where the dogs are. If it was a snake it...

What Dog Breed Do You Want Today!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I'd love a Bermese Mountain Dog. I've got 2 Maremma sheepdogs and a Rottweiler but would love a Bermese. Only prob is that they're not suited for our Aussie climate especially that they prefer the cold :(

    Rabbits newborns gutted, please help

Hi I've got rabbits in an outdoor very large run and have been breeding some although they don't breed much at all compared to how much a rabbit usually breeds. I've got one girl that's 2 years old (New Zealand) and another just turned over 1 (New Zealand cross) and so far I've only got 4...

    How to properly breed rabbits

Ok so I'll definitely take the females to the males rather than bringing the males to females 👍

    How to properly breed rabbits

Ah yes that makes so much sense! I'll do that moving forward. How about the space factor, can my females be in a large area in the male's run or do they need to be in a smaller area? Also do the females have to be with the male separately or together? Thank you

    How to properly breed rabbits

Hi, thank you for your reply. The thing is that the females are quite territorial and don't accept males that quickly hence why I keep him with them for longer. They take around a couple of days to a week to adjust then they're fine and cuddly together. Yes I agree with the size factor as they...

    How to properly breed rabbits

Hi everyone, I recently purchased pet rabbits and some for breeding and people tell me that the male rabbit should be in a small cage with the female in order for them to breed. I personally don't agree with that and don't find it fair for neither the female or the male especially being put in...
