Mine love them as chicks, but once they saw live bugs forget it. I tried love mealworms and Crickets Were Still The Favorite. It will be interesting to see if they change their minds in winter.

We thought Lavender, because she looks so much like the pictures we have researched. I picked her at the time because she looked like she did not belong and I worried about her. Either way, she is a sweet girl. Thanks everyone! I will share more as she grows.
We purchased straight run Rhode Island reds 8 weeks ago. I am certain two are male and one is female. This one has my husband and I torn. I say too he sees a hen. Can you help us?
In the phot with two we are looking at the closest. This one also challenges the two males every chance it gets.
We got sweet Lola from TSC in with Asian Blues. Clearly she is something else. She had light gray feathers on her head that do not show well in photos. Gray feet and is so sweet. She is about the size of the Asians. Thanks!
We bought four from TSC in Sept. Three females are black with a tinge of white on each of them. One is all white with grey feathers in her head. Feet coloring is different. I think she is a different breed? I will get pictures soon. They love the Rhode Island reds we got at the same time.
