    If eggs have an average diameter of 1.75" they would need to roll 2.75" to roll 180 degrees. I am thinking of setting them on top of 1" diameter rollers that run across tray.

    Grillo, Dont think you need to heat water to make the humidity. Think about this for a second.... Second PID is hooked to a small room humidifier that has its output into the air intake path of bator.

    Hot water heater thermostat

    Try a local junk yard for thermostat, lots of water heaters there. Most PC fans are 5 or 12 volts DC. If you don't want something else sitting by your bator make sure you get a 110 AC fan. Just food for thought.
