My two kittens contracted coccidiosis from infected chickens due to my homemade partially raw cat food. I was devastated and had to surrender them for adoption as I couldn't afford their medication. Making a partially raw food diet for cats is trending hot now online but nowhere is contracting coccidiosis discussed as a warning. Cats are obligate carnivores and I want to learn how to make cat food safely so this never happens again.
