Is my hen insane?
As winter is fast approaching here in new England, 1 hen repeatedly stays on one side of the roost while the 4 other hens huddle together on the other side. I am hoping that once it dives below 0 all the hens will just go in the hen house but for now it's still like 28 degrees out and I'm afraid...- Loudawg11

Egg laying mystery
About a week ago we came home after five days away to find 31 eggs laid by our 5 6 month-old buff Orpington chickens. Needless to say we were very excited! But since then the laying has really slowed down and we are only getting two eggs a day. We are wondering why the slowdown in egg...- Loudawg11

Why are my chickens behaving like this?

Ok you should have probably bought a brooder and feeder/waterer before the chick hatched but you should definitely have bought some chick starter feed first too. Yes. I ordered the pawhut wooden chicken coop from amazon. It was just the right size. It'll be here Thursday!
