    I also have 2 ducks, they aren't duckings anymore. they are starting to develop their colors and get their feathers in. Today I noticed 2 small lumps on my brown and blue ducks beak.     This was very helpful. As I put the roosters near my hens, they instantly fought through the poultry wire. Pecking and jumping at each other. Was that just a 'get away from us'?

    I have 8 chicks total. I think there is only one rooster in the flock of babies. He is very tall compared to the other. I got them from tractor supply and they did not specify how old, nor did I ask...I forgot:/

    So if one of the roosters back down then it will be okay? I just have so many questions abut these animals, and no-one to ask because my girls grandma doesn't really know either. I don't want to bombard you with 1000 questions.

    Okay cool. I have eight chicks and two ducks right now as well in the house. Once they are older can I house the old hens, the new roosters with the young flock? OR should I just get rid of the roosters altogether until the baby rooster grows up? And also why did my two roosters fight each other...
