This was very helpful. As I put the roosters near my hens, they instantly fought through the poultry wire. Pecking and jumping at each other. Was that just a 'get away from us'?
I have 8 chicks total. I think there is only one rooster in the flock of babies. He is very tall compared to the other. I got them from tractor supply and they did not specify how old, nor did I ask...I forgot:/
