    Arizona Chickens

You're welcome. I have a number of hens - white, black, brown, red and some multi-colored; but don't honestly know what specific breed they are. They've been here as pets, pest control and egg layers, so not a sophisticated set up. lol I'm just looking to give them to someone who can...

I have two that are mostly white and one that’s dark with a gold band around his neck. I have another that’s quite large and he’s dark/tricolored. I’m not sure what he is, but he’s gentle and a good protector for the flock.

I have a few hens that are similar color, but I'm not sure of their specific breed . It's funny how they have created their own little groups within the flock. If you're interested, I can see about attaching photos.

    Arizona Chickens

I hope everyone had a good 4th of July! For me, Independence Day has a new twist. I'm relocating to Georgia on my own. While I would love nothing more than to take my precious flock with me, I don't know how to safely transport approximately 20 chickens in this heat. I would be grateful to...

    Re-homing my flock

Hello and thank you! If someone has a suggestion for safe transport assistance, I would appreciate that too. I’ve never had to relocate out of state with chickens, but would love to try.

    Re-homing my flock

I live in Gilbert AZ and have a flock of about 20 free range hens and roosters. There are 6 Roos and the rest are good laying hens. I love them and wish I could take them with me, but am moving 2,000 miles away. The trip is too much for them, considering the heat and amount of space they would...
