Hubby agrees with you 100%. The only thing he has changed over the years is how he splits the logs. He uses the 45hp tractor's hydraulics do the bull work of splitting for him. When we are splitting firewood the splitter is in the upright position.
Hubby will be 78 in February, he has two Stihls and a Husqvarna they all 16" bars. I pity the person who would tell him he's too old to do what he likes to do.

Love it when I don't have to cook, just reheat. After working outside all day I'm just too tired to cook. Also, I really don't like to cook unless I have to.
