    Egg W/ No Shell??

    Tonight as I was tucking the girls in and collecting the eggs, I found one that did not have a shell??? It was the feel of jelly-fish (kind of) and broke in my hand as I tried to clean it up. I have never had this happen before. What causes this, and is this serious? Is my chicken okay?

    I had this same question. Two of my three girls had just started laying a few weeks ago and so far all of their eggs have been small.

    Same reasons as wannabchick It would be nice if they could wear them when they want to come inside the house. Mine will do that too. She'll have it on but won't move. I guess my girls just need more time

    Has anyone had any success with getting their chickens to wear these? I bought 1 pair for each of my girls and while they don't take them off they sure do try. They'll keep walking backwards to try to take it off and start flapping around. They don't freak out too much but I can't imagine them...
