When I say, “Run! Run!” my flock will run to the run. It’s pretty funny.
Training them to come to me was much easier than training them to run away on cue.
Our flock has made exciting progress! They've been working on "Run! Run!" and they run to the run. It's hilarious and I'm so proud of them.
I've been working with them every day and slowly they have been running there from a little bit farther away every day. They're now up to around 15 feet...
We took the lid off a cooler & flipped the lid upside down. We fill it with ice and a little water. The edge is a good size for the girls stand on and enjoy the cooler temperature.
We also put Aluminet shade cloth over the run. That has made an incredible difference in shade & temperature.

As long as it's seltzer water and not mineral water or club soda, it might be worth a try if provided as a choice in addition to tap water.
From what I understand it could be helpful, but giving them a way to cool their feet is more effective.

@Faraday40 I'm not sure about the cause of your girl's bald spot, but I do know mine will occasionally freeze and allow themselves to be plucked as a way of keeping their place in the pecking order. The first one to move is the loser.
