    Is my hen's laying done forever?

    I got 2 silkie hens about a month ago. I am not sure how old hey are although they do not look old/aged to me. They are very pleasant and we love being around them but will we ever see an egg from these girls. Thank for your responses to answer what I didn't know as a new chicken keeper.

    I have a small patch of acreage in the middle of town. Lol! To us its the best of both worlds we are in a good school system, close to grocery stores but still get to enjoy our new love for our farm friends. I am in Wichita, Ks. Hello to all my new chatty friends
