    They're getting a 17% layer feed from a local feed store, though we've also tried a different feed store's layer feed without luck. Do you have a favorite brand? They don't regularly get treats.

    I like the idea of a trail cam, though honestly it would be needed more at night. They are in an enclosed, locked coop at night, so unless it's banging up against the coop they aren't likely to know there's anything there. One for inside the coop is a good idea too.

    All great advice. We can get to the areas under the coop if we must, just prefer not to do it for eggs. They used the nesting boxes for months until..........they just stopped. I really hesitate to block off or make the area under the coop less appealing. Our coop is about 2' off the ground...

    I don't keep aggressive roos and unless you have a very large flock, three roos are way too many (I think the number is something like 1:20 or 1:25 roos-to-hens). Unless you have a very large flock to keep three roos, they will need to go (I rehome mine).
