These traps are great. I have had a terrible coon problem for years. I've tried all kinds of traps with limited success. I put out 5 of the Duke dog proof traps and have caught 8 coons and 6 oppossums in the past 10 days. I also second buying the d\setting tool.
I didnt have any drawn plans. Just sorta winged it and designed as I went. The foot print is 8x13. And yes, before you say it, it would have been much easier if i had used even incremaents. Oh well live and learn.:rolleyes:
The window is covered with hardware cloth to keep out the unwanted. It does not get cold enough here to close up the coop in winter. in the event of a storm, I have plywood already cut to cover the windows.
