    Black Orpington x Partridge Orpington

I’ve got 5 chicks from a local Orpington breeder and they are black Orpingtons crossed with a dark partridge Orpington. I was just wondering if anyone has crossed these two colours and has photos of what they may end up looking like?

    Abandon chicks

Thank you I couldn’t believe someone could dump them either. Up until Friday we had travellers set up on the community field, which is next to the woods where they were found. Wow! That’s such a lovely story. Glad it worked out for you. I’m giving my two lots of cuddles & attention so hopefully I’ll be as successful as you.

    Abandon chicks

I’m hoping they fit in too. They’d make a great addition to the coop. Only time will tell. In the mean time I shall enjoy their company & give they a happy & loving home. Thanks for all the help everyone. Much appreciated!

    Abandon chicks

I was hoping to keep them, it all depends on whether they get in with my other chickens. If not I know someone else who’ll have them.

    Abandon chicks

Evening, I’ve just taken in two chicks that were dumped in near by woodland. I’m not sure on the breed, Pekin or Cochin maybe? Also, am I right in thinking that they were probably dumped because they are roosters? Thanks
