    How do you store your eggs?

    Unwashed on the counter. Not worried about date I figure people are eating eggs that are up to 60 days old from the store so mine are fresh no matter what.

    My chickens are broken

    My ladies hate strawberries and carrots but will destroy watermelon like there is no tomorrow. They also LOVE meal worms. I order mine online from Rainbow meal worms the ones in the stores are from china the ones from Rainbow are fresh,live and grown in CA.

    Finally

    We can now have backyard chickens. Our village board just changed the ordinances to allow backyard chickens. It has taken 10 years, such a relief to be able to be just one more step towards self sustainability. Now on to the planning so we will be up and running in the spring. I am so glad I can...
