    Anyone like to have a guess at this chick please? Is her comb a pea comb? So far I’ve thought Austra white, but her comb is throwing me off. She came out of a pale blue egg if that helps anything! Just coming up 5 weeks old.

    Ah no, I’m in the UK and have a friend on a farm who keeps chickens / cockerels. So just got a lucky dip situation on some eggs to hatch at home 🙂

    Thanks all! Yes this black one is the one I think could most be a rooster at the moment, the comb is the biggest (also the biggest chick overall) but it’s very yellow at the moment, so we’ll see if it turns red soon. I will be surprised if (Twinkle Star 🤣) turns out to be a hen

Didn’t think of an Australorp! Maybe the black ones are just some kind of black sex links. Which would be nice as neither...
