Yesterday was hatch day with only one egg that looked like it may have survived the 7 hour power outage. Haven't seen anything yet, one more day and then my bator is empty again. :(

This is my first go. I am only guessing that what I think to be pullets and cockerel are correct. I will go and take photos them later today. I only have the 3 and they are 2 weeks old.

Had a fierce storm yesterday and was without power for over 6 hours and bator temp dropped to 78. Going to candle to see if anything survived tonight.

Maybe a dry sponge would work. Not sure. I live in the desert and have issues with getting humidity up. Lol.

Maybe jars filled with water will help keep the temperature from extreme jumps. It'll act as an insulator.

Gen9 my butt chick is running around and doing very well. My first chick isn't as active so I am watching it and giving it water frequently. Thank you for checking on Tipsy.
