    Weird Question--does it matter what color ceramic eggs I buy?

    How long had the other hen been sitting on the eggs before switching them to the new broody? There is a chance they are still viable, though hatch may be delayed for being off them for a day (there is always hope).

    How was it? I went to the Palm Sunday auction at Danny's. Didn't end up picking any birds there (though I got hatching eggs).

    As far as I am aware, Java's are only supposed to have four toes. Are you sure these chicks are MJs? They look like White Crested Black Polish chicks.
