I'm sure the guineas are females. We've had them since they were chicks. We got the roosters when the hens were 5 months. The guineas are the bottom of the pecking order but they are hanging out as bodyguards with the top roosters favorite hen, another leghorn.

I have 20 chickens including 2 guineas and 2 roosters. The guineas have been chasing the white leghorn rooster who is the top roo. He doesn't have the slightest interest in mating with them. Has anyone have this happen before?

We are in Florida so it's 90 degrees out now. My husband says once they hatch, he'll put them into the portable coop but you can't predict when they'll hatch.
