the coop faces the east so the west side of the coop is a solid wall...here we get alot of weather out of the north and that is the side thanks to recommendations on here that I have decided to tarp off. Rain and snow issue...please help
In this coop I have a white leghorn roo, 2 leghorn hens, and 1 rir hen...I think we will put up tarps on the 2 fences sides...which is the best way to securely do that with the wind and all?- luvmychix2014

Here is our coop for our established flock of 4 they love it however its fall/winter now and my biggest issue is the rain and ice...yes its been raining ice now for 2 days is blowing into the small opening and flooding their floor which is now a solid sheet of ice...:( i need any and all help on...- luvmychix2014

Thank you all for the comments and helpful tips...at this time I have decided to house the small birds in an extra large wire dog kennel at night until I can get another coop...hopefully like the one I have since it was made here in town by a roofers left over material! I will set up different...- luvmychix2014

The rooster is a part of the pecking, he is no better than the older hens!! I have one long roosting bar as my coop is smaller...how long will this go on its already been a couple weeks!- luvmychix2014

Hello, I have an established flock of 3 hens and 1 rooster. This summer we incubated eggs and now have 3 chicks that are 5 months old. All day long while they are free ranging they are always seperate...I feed them mainly out of a feeder...the older ones attack during feeding, attack in the coop...- luvmychix2014

Concerned...need help!!!
The chick had a seizure tonight right in front of me and died with 20 seconds. I'm guessing it's been happening all this time I just never caught it- luvmychix2014
