    We are in Va. It's usually in the mid to upper 80's. The past week or so has been cooler than usual for this time of year & we have had some rain.

    He is moving around and standing some. He ate a little applesauce, yolk and yogurt with some oatmeal on his own this morning.[

    I have tried some scrambled egg with oatmeal as well as the regular pellet food and some starter crumbles. I am taking some applesauce out now.

    He is barred rock 5 months old. We have been out of town for a few days but he was fine on Wednesday. He is separated from the flock in our shed on some orchard grass which is what we use for bedding. The other 40+ are doing fine. He is alert and still drinking but the only thing I have seen...

    What have I got here?

    I have a Mille Fleur also and it did take her seemingly forever for her beard to come in. These came from Tractor Supply. They are still pretty young, just a little over 3 months. The one has more of a beard than the other. I was thinking they were porcelain and not self blue. Thanks all!
