    TRIED AND TRUE-(29 years)Easter Eggers for dependable year round laying and beautiful eggs. White silkies for(6 years) mommy hatchers of any eggs...cuteness and snuggles.

    Pasty Butt Questions

    Hello, I've found that feeding fine crushed dry oatmeal or oat brand definitely helps ward off and stop pasty butt in new chicks. Pasty butt can be a killer if not addressed. I really hate cleaning it. It's stressful for the babies. 😔

    Friendly chicken - Speckled Sussexes, Rocks, or Australorps??

    Speckled Sussex go Broody and won't leave you alone. Astrolorps (I have some ordered)are probably the best layers. I've enjoyed Barred Rocks. Good layers and calm. Lynn

    Black star but gray chick with barred feathers...?

    I ordered from Murray McMurray in 2024 and got a Black Star hen that feathered out a dusty blue lace. She lays medium brown eggs very dependable. She's gorgeous. Lynn Grigg
