I was so thrilled and this has been quite the experience. I am new to all of this but the bird was absolutely gorgeous and can see why people collect and care for these wonderful creatures. Now I miss seeing him but know can visit :)
Thank you everyone for all the advice! Good news, we captured the bird today and he went to a 10 acre farm with an aviary and will be well taken care of. Glad we found a home, the bird seemed relieved settling in nicely to the secure enclosure.
