Hi, I am new to raising hens for eggs. So I may have a lot of questions.
Well I will get to that later. I have 5 hens, 2 white, not sure what type
they are. And 3 brown hens, I think they are road Island Reds, 1 may
be a mix breed. Hubby & I built our own coop, it is 5' wide by 20' long
& 6' tall, half of it is covered the other half is not covered.
I am 52, don't work outside the home. I babysit my 3 grandchildren three days a week. Hubby & I like to ride our Harley when we can.
I am fairly new at this raising hens for eggs. And can always use some advise on what to do to help me keep them healthy. We had chickens when I was in high school, but I only collected eggs & cleaned out the home made coop.
