    So what’s interesting/confusing for me was how robust and seemingly thriving, no wing or leg paralysis. They just weren’t laying, so until began processing them did we discover what a mess insides were.

    Thank you for that information. I am attempting to decipher the lymphoid leukosis from Merck Manual. Does it make sense that all 15 hens were infected with this?

    I had 15 year and half old chickens that did not lay any eggs over summer so decided to cull and process them. This is what we found inside and would like to identify what and why. Large enclosed chicken run, GMO free layer pellets, lots of greens and vegis, daily fresh water, black soldier...

    Feeding organic layer pellets, they get organic scratch in chicken run daily and Brumblies meal worms couple times a week. Chicken house is 8x16 with lots of roosts. Outside chicken run 16x 32 ft with logs and stumps. I think plenty of room. I never see anybody picking on anyone else so...

    Thank you for your quick reply! Crazy here with farm stuff and planting. Would the girls wear the aprons all the time or do you take off like at night? Would Wonder Dust work on rearends?
