    Rats Eating Chickens

    Can a rat eat a full grown n alive chicken? I have cabbage n pumpkin n some bread n oranges for my hens outside in their run which is open on top but enclosed all the way around. Thanks, Mariam in IL

    my chickens are digging holes in their run.

    My chickens are digging hole ALL over my garden area. I gave it to them since gardening was over. It's 25x25 , how will this affect gardening next year?:)

    I guess this is actually different fom original post...but my chickens will now be 24 wks tomorrow n no eggs!! What's going on I'm running out of evthing n can't buy anything in Sept bc of taxes. Oct should be good though. Thanks Mariam

    Can I use kitty litter?? Just got coop yesterday n don't know what to put in run if anything? I'm on a fixed income what works best n keeps smell down? An how do I get rid of these nasty flies or whatever they are. Their all around the chickens n only have 3.

    Where to put the feed n water

    Ok, this is my first time an I have 3 chickens. Right now they are in a lg Rubbermaid container ..which im getting a coop next week. My question is when ever I put the water n feed in there the Rhode Island will roost on top of the feed, an ends up messing in the food. Then the water they all...

    Hello! And a question about CX

    How much do 9-10 wk old chickens eat? I've noticed if I keep feeding them they will keep eating! Should they eat at certain times of day etc a schedule ? I'm in IL , really doing a lot of learning . Also,what causes them to turn on each other?
