Just moved away from the city (pop. 30k), and bought a home in farm country, on three, wooded acres.

In the city, I kept two 6'x6' raised garden beds, and absolutely love growing fresh veggies and canning in the fall. The natural progression was keeping laying hens for fresh eggs.

I'm here to learn, since this is very new. I have experience with having pet dogs my whole life (which will be interesting when they meet the hens).
