    Crossing laced polish

Well my laced birds must have been crossed in this fashion previously. Because my 4 week olds are gold not lemon. Will post pics some time so it can be confirmed

    Crossing laced polish

Well that's interesting because I can easily discern between gold and silver pretty much at the hatch. And no doubt by 1 week

    Crossing laced polish

So can anyone confirm whether polish can be sex linked?internet seems to be conflicting. If I cross a silver laced rooster with a gold laced hen, will all my gold laced chicks be roosters? Based on what I am seeing this seems to be a breed specific phenomenon. Thanks in advance

I was offered frizzled polkies today. Anybody have an idea what they will look like? Can someone post pics of an adult? Thanks

So new! I really have know idea what we are doing

I agree with earlier posts you may need to get so e 22% layer feed. Lethargy and diarhea always makes me think coccidia. But that may be more if a southern problem idk. I am in florida. Are they losing weight?

What exactly do you want to know about? Young birds can be challenging but once they get older things get easier

    Pellets VS Grain

I feed mine mini pellets 22% this time of year. Agree with other posts that there is no waste. Plus you end up with a ton of dust leftover with crumble. If u can find the mini pellets both small and big birds can eat them

    balding polish rooster

I have some DE in house. will it work or do I need to go buy a pet grade chemical? FYI- I am pretty sure he is not being picked on. He is the top rooster in the run he is in....

    Large Run Plans

I have made runs with pallets and fence posts, with netting over the top. I set them on top on cinder blocks (for a little more height), stand the pallets up and drive fence posts through them. it's not the most aesthetic design. But the advantage is that it is easily movable. Takes me about...

    balding polish rooster

So my blue white crested polish in my profile, is getting older now, and is developing a balding spot (yes his name is Einstein). I assume it's mites. But I have 2 problems, 1) it has rained so much here lately that my dust baths have been turned into mud baths, and 2) his head plumage is so...
