    Is it possible for a Jap quail that is 2 weeks and 6 days old to crow? It was possibly the weirdest noise which I have ever heard and did not at all sound like the previous Jap roos I've owned. I didn't realise they started so young. Also, at 2AM...

    They may take a bit of time, but will definitely warm to you again. No chicken I know of (even the really, really flighty ones) has ever resisted treats for any significant amount of time. Also, ouch... that sounds like a nasty injury. Forgetting about the chicks for a moment... I hope...

    My family's split half half. My father and I are the arguers, whereas my aunt and sister are the pacifists. I think any other way and our family would have imploded. I just hope that, should I ever have kids, they don't end up like me...

    I hear that's a common theme among most dads (including my own) I was unfortunately born on one of those awkward days in which no one can decide which star sign I really am. Half say Leo and half say Virgo. I accept both.
