I have a question about a broody hen sitting on live eggs with a 5 month old hen chick, both brahma's. Is it safe to let the chick stay with the mother when the chicks hatch.
The 5 mos old chick, Blackie, has large feathered feet. I don't want her stepping on one of the chicks. Thank you
