First off, wow. I hope your duckling is doing great and continues to do so. I have certainly learned a lot from reading this and it continues to amaze me just how resilient these little guys are.

My new Saxony ducklings got to have their first foray in grass. They hatched about 9 days ago, our first time incubating our Saxony eggs. I forgot how tiny they start out considering how big they get.:eek:

Following for the information, I have some newly hatched ducklings and one of them does the yawning, but no clicking that I can hear.

This Saxony duckling is so laid back. Hard to believe how big it has already gotten, it's only 9 days old.
