Thank you. This is our second time hatching ducks. I think my hubby was just over excited and jumped the gun. I’ll put some Vaseline on the exposed membrane and hopefully all will go well. I still have two more I told him not to touch.
All of these babies were externally pipped for over 24 hours and not making progress. Last night my husband peeled the shell back a bit. I can see the veins still on the one in the middle. I just trying to keep the membrane soft. Is there anything else we can do?
