Hi, trying to determine the sex of the six week old backyard mix bird. Comb is not really red and looks like my other pullets. Wondering your thoughts.
Thanks for the help.
Below are pictures of three Easter eggers that are six week old. They have different colored leg tags.
Any ideas if they are all pullets or all roosters. They have grown out about the same as far as feathering, comb redness etc. I know time will tell for sure but getting curious. Thank you...
Hi. I ordered pullets. Thinking one is a Roo? They are four weeks. Two pictures each a different Maran. Think the one to the left is a Rooster as the comb is larger, and his feet seem to be bigger and the one to the right is a the Pullet.
Thank you for the answers ahead of time.
Hi.I have a few questions about breeding to get olive colored eggs.
1- I have a BYM Easter Egger than lays a light olive green egg. Can I breed her to deepen the green color. If I breed her with a Welsummer Rooster will the offsprings egg be darker or the same egg color as the mother hens was...
So SLW Roo over my GLW and possibly Welsummers and definitely the RIR? So I can breed the same Roo for those three breeds to get sex links?
Sorry for all the questioning. I am slowly learning. I appreciate your knowledge.
