    UPDATE: 1 & 2 finally revealed themselves when my two broodies came out for a few minutes to eat/drink today and they both ran up and started dancing for them :lau they've since not been shy about their crowing either so the mystery is solved! Now to find them new homes haha

    Thanks for the advice I'll have to try and figure out a new configuration to keep them seperated. I usually have them all out free ranging in our backyard as we haven't been able to make them their own dedicated run yet.

    I went out to check again because I thought it was odd that there weren't many on her and i sfitted through the bedding and it's teeming with them. I really want to move her and the eggs to clean it out but I'm scared she'll freak out and refuse to sit with it being so close to hatch.

    I haven't used these before but I've seen plenty of people use PVC pipe as an alternative, so it runs down like a chute. Like this and this . I plan on installing one of these when I build a larger coop to cut back on wastage myself.
