Had a board (plywood) that fell over my 4 week old chicks due to torrenial rains last several days and happy that all my chicks walked away unharmed. Now they are all happy and healthy in a new brooding area.
Thank you so much. I've recently learned about red sex links. You may be on to something here. I know there is a possibility I have a Cinnamon Queen as it was part of the assortments and I believe those are red sex links. Another option is possibly a Starlight Green Egger or Wheaten Marans...
I certainly will. It's so hard to tell sometimes when you order from a hatchery's assortment selections. I guess time will tell what they are. Just happy to have some healthy birds to add to my flock.
Hard to tell in those pics. Looks like you have yourself a little bantam (little reddish brown one). It's hard to see the legs and markings in these pics.
For a quieter duck I would recommend getting a Muscovy. They make more of a hissing noise rather than a quack. If you have 2 drakes already and only looking to get a 3rd I would recommend getting a 3rd drake.
I don't see any muffs or beards, lead me to lean towards Welsummer for #1 & #3? I am hoping #2 is a Bielefelder (that's me wishing🤣) could #5 be wheaten marans?
