Please help me sex these chick photos, multiple angles each.

I think 3 is a rooster, 1 and 2 I'm not sure about, the rest are hens. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure. I think 2 Is a grey cochin, 3 is a California grey, 5 black laced red Wyandotte

What type of quail should I get?

Ok, thanks! I will get some soon. Luckily where I live (in Wales) we don't have raccoons, but we do have rat and mice. I will also make sure the quail food is correct, and had the correct amount of protein. Thanks for all the help!

    Coop-mate recommendations?

Good choice. I have buff Orpingtons and they are more gentle than most chickens.

What type of quail should I get?

I have a pet superstore near me that sells quail food. I have quite a big garden, so I have room for about 10 ( I'm going to give them more space than they suggest). Also I'm putting mesh all around the run, so that they can't get out, and nothing can get in. Is there any tips you suggest?

    Oops, 17% protein feed?

Anytime! I had some problems with low protein chicken feed, and when I gave them mealworms, it seemed to help with feather growth, and egg production!

    Oops, 17% protein feed?

Just throw some extra mealworms every few days. That should keep their protein levels up. Hope this helps!
