I am up by the Mendon line on Rockmeadow Ext. Last night was wonderful huh? How do keep your flock warm, fed and watered? Any tips for this newby?- map917

Heating the Chicken Coop.
Its not actually a blizzard here in MA by any stretch of the imagination. We are having a small snow storm by New England standards. My chickens are doing quite well, they are just shy of 20 weeks and are in a 4x8 coop which is not insulated. I use shavings (about 5-7 inches) on the floor only...- map917

Our first eggs, found these three last Saturday the 27th of October, when we were prepping the coop and yard for Hurricane Sandy.All three were in the same nesting box.
