    Thanks guys, we did decide to have my father-in-law butcher them for us. They were each about 13/15 lbs a piece. We plan to roast them slowly in the oven when we do eat them.

    I just posted any shipped eggs. Also if your using a bator that doesn't turn them make sure u have an alarm lol. Turn them 4 or so tikes a day..

    Are these worth setting?

    Both look fertile in my opinion. Just hatched 13 chicks 7 days ago from our girls. One was a pretty new layer. And all are still alive .

    We're here in Texas as well Luckily we only list power for a few hrs and put our 11 5 day olds at the time in front of the fire place. We have 12 bcm in the bator they all still look ok! Thank God our power wasn't out long .. pic of our babies
