    I had the black ones narrowed down to those two breeds. I’ll take a peak at the bottom of their feet tomorrow. ;)

    Thank you! Those are my guesses, too. Thank you so much for the compliment. I’m really excited for this group of chicks. The only breed that I’ve had before is the barred rock, so the others will be great additions to my flock.

    I got these girls in an egg layer mix from McMurray Hatchery. I think I have it narrowed down, but I would like some second opinions. Edit: there are actually photos of four chicks. I decided to add a pic of two more.

    Yes, my Corgi was underneath me watching. He’s a really good dog, but I didn’t want to accidentally drop one within his reach. He was smiling and his tounge was out! Lol

    Are Plymouth rocks and barred rocks the same thing? My guess was a barred rock.

    I bought an egg layer mix from Murray McMurray. I also bought Andalusians and silver laced Wyandottes. The rest could be anything that would be in a mixed color egg layer assortment. :/
