    I got 2 Lavender Orpingtons as chicks and now they are 9 weeks old and I'm afraid 1 is a cockerel! They r both so sweet too!

    Hey there! Do you happen to have an update on these chickens? I'm esp interested in learning what the Lavender Orpingtons turned out to be! I have 2 right now and at 9 weeks, they both look exactly like yours do in these pics and I can't get another roo this time! LOL Just curious! TY

    That little fast stinker! LoL I wonder how loud these guys get. He is still really sweet to me and eats out of my hand still, but I know he doesn't have all his hormones yet!

    They r SO much fun to watch and their personalities are so interesting! I'm so relieved that I only have 1 boy. I get it about taking their picture...I took 50 to get 3 or 4 good ones! LOL I'll be on the lookout for pics of ur suspect RIR!

    I am a new chicken owner and I got 4 chicks from a pullet bin, 2 easter Eggers and 2 barred rocks. I'm pretty sure my orange EE is a pullet but my other one is sure acting pretty roostery. Specks was small at first but quickly became the biggest, is the alpha and developed a 3 row red comb...
