She’s still eating and drinking and her poop looks normal. However she seems to stand in this odd sloped position. Sorry no video of her walking, I tried to post it but it won’t load at all.
I’ve recently noticed one of my hens limping and laying down a lot. She struggles to get into the coop at night and she spends most of the day by herself; I don’t know if the flock has isolated her or if she just isn’t able to walk as far as they can. I suspect bumble foot, but I’m not sure...
She's about the same right now, hasn't gotten any worse or better. I've been giving her water through a syringe every so often but she still won't drink on her own. What is lymphoid leukosis? I've never heard of that
I gave her some fluids and have her soaking in warm water and Epsom salts just in case she is eggbound. I thought coccidiosis mostly affected chicks? Or am I wrong
She is still cooing and making all the normal chicken sounds, her eyes are bright and alert. Everything about her seems 100% normal except that she can't walk and the watery white poop. I'm at a complete loss as to what could be wrong.
the orpingtons poop is white and watery, the rest of the chickens poop is normal. She moves her feet when I touch them. Her crop feels normal as far as I can tell, she looks normal overall besides not being able to walk. There's no odd smell either.
