    Rooster vibes are changing everything

    I've found that any rooster can be a problem depending on the mix. If your girls are in a secure run and you don't want to hatch eggs, get rid of him. Even bantams can do a number on full size hens. My girls always alert to danger and get to safety. My 30+ flock is fine without rooster.

    What breed are these bantams?

    I have 2 bantams that are about 2 months old, purchased from a farm store. Their base color is chestnut and they have bars similar to a Plymouth Rock. They have regular feeling feathers and booted feet, but are kind of shaped like a silkie. Probably just a mix. Any suggestions on breed?
