    Duck is still lying down but got up to poop, so that seems good. I have her in duck house with food and water - don't want her to get in pool wearing gauze bandage. Waiting to hear back from vet. She can stand but really doesn't want to.

    Hi. I've taken the big scab off after soaking with Epsom salts but couldn't get any pus out. It's disinfected, wrapped with gauze and vet taped. Does the blemish in the middle also look like bumblefoot? Thanks so much♥️

    Thanks for your reply (and everyone else's too). They stopped visiting as soon as we removed remains. We are keeping a much closer eye on them and the drakes are locked up because well you know we love them but they're jerks. The two ducks hang out outside the pen by the drakes or in the pond...

    It's not a spot that they usually hang out at. They left their pen this morning and went straight to the spot which they have never done before (they normally go to the pond or to the garden).     She eats pellets, peas and corn, lots of foraging, and mealworms as a bedtime snack. The first day she made about 3 tries to stand up then was fine. She's eating, drinking, swimming, pooping, mating, and laying eggs. She's bright eyed and perky, just limping at times. I'll reexamine tomorrow...
