I live in the Pacific Northwest in the Columbia River Gorge. We are only allowed three hens here in suburbia. And honestly that's enough chicken poop for my small yard. My chicks will be 2 weeks old on Tuesday. They are growing fast. I have had to raise the brooder plate. We are building a small chicken tractor. I have a Buff Orpington, a New Hampshire Red and a Barred Plymouth Rock.
